Finally a tool to monitor your BI Accelerator
erada Inc, a part of my portfolio, has released a breakthrough technology product by the name of BIA Workbench.
This is the worlds first BI Accelerator workbench that combines visuals for the daya to day support of the application layer.
The BI Accelerator is a tool that was badly needed by SAP BI. Gartner reported in 2009 that "The SAP BI Accelerator is bringing much needed performance improvements to the SAP installed base of NetWeaver BI/BW customers — poor performance was cited as a problem by a third of these customers, significantly more than for any other BI platform" 2009 quote by Gartner
The BI Accelerator has three components for support
1. SAP BIA Software supported by SAP
2. BIA Appliance support supported by the vendor. This includes all HW and SW other than 1.
3. The application layer support, supported by customer BIA Support
Suppory layer #3 has no tools, admin workbench or anything similar to assist with this support. The task is tedious and critical.
